How to make a bequest

The generosity of the Nelson College supporters over many decades has been a vital factor in creating a world-class education for boys in Nelson.

So many who have spent a significant part of their lives here, whether as students, staff or parents, have recognised that the College shaped them in a multitude of ways. These strong memories have inspired people to designate a place for Nelson College in their will.
Every bequest, regardless of the amount can make a difference and contribute to Nelson College having a bright and sustainable future.

Bequests are directed to the Nelson College Trust Foundation, which is independently administered. The funds are invested to help maintain and shape the direction of Nelson College.  Bequests can be made for a specific purpose such as Academic, Sport, Music, Arts, Hardship, Boarding, Buildings or to the General endowment fund.
